I gave a talk on mobile application strategy for Drupal sites at Dallas Drupal Days 2012.
Usually I give technical talks, so it was definitely interesting to give a talk on business topics.
I'm a software developer in sunny Austin, Texas. I develop mobile apps, and I like coming in at an early stage to help define the user experience. I'm currently working on projects both for myself and for clients. In the fall of 2013, I'll be teaching a class on iPhone App Development at the University of Texas as an adjunct professor.

My most recent talk was about Mobile Video and Drupal at Drupal Camp Dallas 2013. I spoke about writing an iPhone app with Twilio at TwilioCon 2012 in San Francisco. Earlier in, I co-presented on Drupal and PhoneGap at the 2012 DrupalCon in Denver. I also gave a talk on Drupal and Mobile Apps at the 2012 Florida Drupal Camp. Branching a little bit away from the technical side, I gave a talk on mobile application development strategy for Drupal at Drupal Camp Dallas in 2012.
In 2011, I spoke at Drupal Camp Dallas, the Lone Star Ruby Conference, and Drupal Camp Austin.
In my spare time, I run marathons and ultramarathons with my wife Cheri. Together, we're up to over 100 of them.
